/*JUPITER JAZZ*/

    The 2007 greetings card went to a rather long conception process, which is also why I waited until Chinese New Year for finishing it.

    Lately in 2006 I started reading a lot of astronomy material about galaxies and their geometrical shapes, in particular about spiral and barred-spiral galaxies (like our good old milky-way).

    I noticed that by simply creating an ellipse curve, duplicate it, scale and rotate it, and iterate the process, I would obtain a spiral-like galaxy thanks to the moire patterns, only problem was that the patterns were also generating some artifacts if the curves were antialiased.

    So I decided to generate quasi-random points instead of curves and place them according to the ellipse cartesian equation.

    All was fed into MIT's "Processing", the super-cool visual programming language for artists, 350000 points were placed according to my rules and a number 7 was generated with some other compositing trickery.

    So here is it,
    have fun in 2007!
